David Kerley

A broadcast journalism career started a few days into Kerley’s required Cal Poly internship. An anchor and reporter in Chicago, Seattle, Boise and Santa Maria he moved to ABC News as a national correspondent in Washington DC. He covered the White House, Congress, and the Iraq War before being named Senior Transportation Correspondent. Recently he reported for Discovery Channel’s Emmy-winning Space Launch LIVE and started the digital newsletter Full Throttle covering the changes in transportation. It was his role as KCPR News Director that he credits for launching his career.
